NEW YORK SERIES — Dawn Before Darkness

My motivation for the series was to photograph the New York — past and present. I took the same ferry ride as I did two years previously, only this time I was motivated to capture New York with infrared film, which has soft yet striking qualities. This was the first image I shot that morning. It became the symbolic essence of my photojournalistic story that day.
