BLACK AND WHITE • INFRARED • FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

Arnold's passion for history has had a deep and lasting impact on his photography. His signature style blends cinematic elements with the classicism of black and white photographic techniques, resulting in fine art images evocative of the film noir genre. Utilizing infrared film, Arnold captures a narrative that is at once striking and ethereal.

As President of the Sarasota Historical Society and founder of the Bispham-Wilson Arts & Historic District, Arnold synthesizes his artistic talent with a love of American architecture. His efforts to preserve Sarasota's architectural history have helped to instill a sense of pride in local residents and have provided thousands of visitors with a unique sense of place. In the year 2000, the State of Florida awarded the Bispham-Wilson District the Meritorious Historic Preservation Award.
